so I did some more research over the gene therapy process and found out something interesting. turns out that once the genetic implant has been introduced to your body, it cannot be taken out. the gene would be integrated into your DNA and become part of your genome. this makes it even harder for people to catch Olympic cheaters, because if someone used gene therapy to help them in the olympics, no one would be able to catch them. it also makes it scary to think that hundreds of people might walk the earth with the exact same coy of a single gene because of its ability to better enhance their ability of their mucles to perform better.

in short this means that if someone gene doped, their DNA would fuse with the introduced gene as if that person was born with the enhanced gene. also it would be impossible to take out the gene once its introduced, in other words they are stuck with it forever.
